Murr Skip Hire has a strong commitment to recycling and aims to divert 100% of waste from landfill.

In 2021 a new trommel and picking line was added to the Waste Transfer Station facility to assist with the sorting, segregation and recycling of waste materials.

We hold a full WAMITAB certification and our site is regulated by the Environment Agency.

Unacceptable Waste

The following types of waste cannot be accepted in a skip, but we can help you recycle these items:

• Asbestos
• Modern Fibre Cement Bonded Products (non-asbestos) that visually look like asbestos
• Hazardous Waste
• Fluorescent Light Tubes
• Any Liquids, Including Oils and Paints
• Tyres
• Fridges/Freezers
