You agree by hiring our skips, not to dispose of the following materials in the skips, when hiring: 

The Environment Agency has updated its recommendations for disposing of various materials, including Hazardous Waste, Construction Materials & Plasterboard (gypsum) and state it must be segregated as it can no longer be disposed of in a mixed waste skips.

Please confirm therefore by hiring our skips, not to dispose of the following materials in the skips, when hiring:

HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED:

• No Hazardous or Toxic Waste
• No Asbestos Products
• No Drums containing liquids
• No Paints
• No Fluorescent Tubes
• No Fridges
• No Freezers
• No Tyres

The Environment Agency has updated its recommendations for disposing of Plasterboard (gypsum) and state it must be segregated as it can no longer be disposed of in a mixed waste skip.

Therefore plasterboard needs to be separated and taken for specialist recycling, due to this, we have to introduce tighter restrictions, meaning that you can purchase “Plasterboard Bulk Bags” in the online shop.

WHEN DISPOSING OR PLASTERBOARD (GYPSUM) – YOU MUST:

• Plasterboard – 1 bulk bag of plasterboard per skip. Additional bags will be charged at £40 + Vat each.
• Plasterboard must be kept clean, dry and in bags. Bags must be within the skip, not sat on top of a full skip.
• Plasterboard in general waste skips that has not been segregated may incur an additional charge of up to £200.00 depending on type and quantity.
• All Foil Backed & Insulated Plasterboard will be subject to an additional charge.
• Bags can be provided on request, please state how many bags in checkout customer notes.

CONSTRUCTION WASTE RECYCLING

If construction waste is to be disposed of in the skip, an additional £10 on 4yd skips, and £15 on 6yd/8yd skips, can be chosen as an option of hire, at the time of choosing the Skip Size.
